He's gotta get one right at some point, right?

His CB's are like a fart in the wind with me sure you smell it and notice it right away but no one takes it seriously. I am not going to sit here and make fun of Loy because none of you care and I've done it enough.

Per some poster on II, he has a buddy (who's in the know) that texted him that things are looking really good. So good that he might have committed. TIFWIW

Carries over their last 8 games of 2014:

Folston- 133
Elliott- 156

Essentially, the difference being we were getting our doors blown off against USC and stopped running while Elliott got an absurd amount of carries in the title game.

There's some truth to your big picture complaints about the run game. But I don't know why there's still consternation about McDaniel's role from his senior year. 29 carries over his last 8 games with occasional spot duty as a pass blocker? He practically disappeared as the season wore on and Folston developed.

This. ND had to play behind in two of their contests (ASU and USC) and were forced to abandon the running game in order to move fast and get back in it. It worked for a while against ASU, and didn't at all against USC.

McDaniel was our lead rusher, which is why he got the bulk of the carries early on, but Folston passed him by, thus he got more carries later on in the season.

After watching his film, I would say his best attribute is his ability to see the hole and hit it fast. Something I believe GB is very sub par at. No doubt in my mind this kid gets PT if we are fortunate enough to land him.

Actually GB is probably the best on the team at putting his foot in the dirt and getting up field. There's a fine line between being a patient runner and just being a bit off timing wise (early or late). I think he may still be adjusting but I've seen Pete Sampson heap a ton of praise after practice on Bryant because of his all out style - I just don't think he's quite got the vision that Folston and McDaniel have at this point ins his career.

I'm not a subscriber but based on this morning's Loy/Wilfong's tweets, this is heating up quickly for ND.

Hoping to see him cancel that OV to AM next weekend.

Not good enough to play at Miami? How delusional are these guys? What year do they think this is?
