So once again, you make statements about Sparq scores and then reality sets in. Your entire basis for athleticism was the Sparq scores, lol.
He does not run a 3.9 shuttle. He certainly doesn’t jump a 45.5 vert. The relevancy is....... your entire basis for saying “we don’t have any even close to those measureables.” is not even remotely accurate. Because you’re using information that isn’t even close to accurate. We’ve done this before and I’ll do it again. I’ll bet you 1k that Dex doesn’t do that at the combine? You game?
What's your problem with sparq. It's just another set of measurements. Are you questioning their accuracy of laser timed laser timed 40s, electronic mat measured verts? Or do you just not mat vs flag? Sparq is not an end all be all, but it's funny how you summarily dismiss metrics that are the most used grading and comparing college athletes. Or is it just your definition of "athletic"
Dexter passes the eye test in terms of athleticism, it's not just sparq scores from 2014. Are you saying Dex's sparqs are BS and Saquon's were accurate? Dex had the second best sparq in the nation coming out of the regional. So that was just BS... lol. Do you think there's just a ton of disparity between regional groups. Fine, but how about all the FL backs (there were a ton of good ones in 2014) that were at the 2014 regional. Or is it just the vert (which is really not a true vert) that you're hung up on?
Forget the sparqs,
what RB is more athletic on this ND team that will put up better all around numbers at the combine? Or what other non-RB is going to put up all around numbers? Sure some are faster, but are they going to be better all around or in all measurements.
Again, I said I'm not comparing sparq vs combine. And why would I bet that his 40 is still the same or better? And why would I bet a flag measurement will be the same as a hang time measurement?
So what is a LL approved metric for athleticism? Is it just the LL eye test, or the NFL combine?
