They failed to mention bench play. Definitely favors Notre Dame

I would argue that current coach of the year and winner of 7 of last 9 head to head match-ups is at least = to Geno.

Getting UConn in foul trouble and forcing them to go to the bench would be huge for us. Obviously we need to shoot really well too.

Interestingly, that's probably going to be UConn's strategy as well. I think the first ten minutes of the game will go a loooooong way in dictating how this game plays out and I think the front court matchups are likely to be the decisive factor.

Notre Dame coach Muffet McGraw went off this morning on UConn coach Geno Auriemma. She said the civility in the relationship is gone.

"We don't have a relationship," McGraw said. "I think that (the civility) got lost. When we were in the same conference (the Big East) I think there was a modicum of it but I think after beating them and not feeling any respect from that, we lost something."

She was asked if the civility could come back: "That would be difficult," McGraw said.

McGraw continued: "I think there was always some mutual respect when we first started and I like to think that is still there on our part."

A reporter asked if hate was a word that could be described at the feelings between the programs at the moment. "I think that is a fair assumption," McGraw said. "I think it is a fierce rivalry."

Call it morbid curiosity, but I'm following the score on my phone. I googled Stewart (also out of morbid curiosity) and she totally looks like an even uglier version of a school marm from the 1800's.
