Whispers in T Town that Bama is getting a commitment on Monday. General consensus is that it is Sims. Can't confirm anything just yet however.

It would have been nice to make in roads on Louisiana but I never truly thought we were going to get him.

The fact that he made a un-official trip is huge. Even if he doesnt end up Irish in the end, getting kids up here on their own dime is making crossroads. Like Beau said, all the work down in LA has paid off with Tillery's verbal. Sims visited, Tillery visited/committed, Dupre said as of now it will be one of his officials, McGraw/Young wanting to visit. A school sn't just going to go into a area they haven't recruited well ever and have great success, but ND is doing more than enough in LA right now.

Did anyone end up committing today? Obviously there is still time left, but do people still think Sims will commit today?

No commitment for Bama today. Most thought maybe it was going to be Sims. The Bama crowd is still optimistic they get both Sims in La but as of now they are still both on the board. That has to be good news for other schools pursuing them.

Just wondering, I agree with you about Cameron, he is Bama's to lose.

I agree. Most of the speculation came from Cornwell tweeting that Bama was going to get a WR commit today. Still think Cameron ends up with Bama soon. The other Sims goes to NSD I believe. Word is he wants to commit to Bama but his mom wants LSU. That one could get interesting leading up to signing day.

Do you mean both/other Cameron(s)? I'm thinking you're talking about Cameron Robinson, but you could be talking about Jordan Sims from Alabama. If you're talking about Robinson, he's sounding like a Bama lean right now, but that one's gonna be a marathon. It would be priceless if he pulled a Landon Collins.

RE: Cornwell: I thought his tweet was just that Bama was going to get a "big" recruit tied to something like "hint, hint." Was there a follow-up that specified WR? I kind of assumed he was talking about Charles Mosley, but I haven't been following it since Tigerland went apoplectic over the possibility that the tweet could mean Robinson was going to pop for Bama.

NOLA,

Care to drop some knowledge in Moton's and Brossette's threads? Also I think Robinson ends up at Bama too.

Yeah both Cameron's. Got a little ahead of myself I guess. Sorry about that. From what I read Cornwell tweeted a big recruit and most assumed he meant Sims but he did not specify a WR specifically. As far as Robinson, it would be priceless to see another Landon Collins mommy moment... unless you are a Tiger fan of course.

Wouldn't necessarily call this good news since this can't be an OV. He won't be on campus for the game day experience which may hurt our chances even if we destroy ASU.
