Very happy for Drue, though I would have been just as happy for Aaron Banks. Banks had a rough day at the office.

So
This fanbase was so scarred by Joe Schmidt that any white LB is presumed to be a slow, fundamentally-sound gap filler.
so true. And we’re looking at at least one more year of this phenomenon. Watch Kiser lead the team in tackles and internet complaints.

Werewolf linebackers need to start wearing cutoff jerseys and neck rolls again.

I always enjoyed the classic werewolf linebacker/great big panther D tackle combo. Zach Thomas and Tim Bowens, Luke Kuechly and kuwan short, Vince Wilfork and insert Patriot werewolf, and my personal favorite, Urlacher and Keith Traylor. I'll never forget Traylor's INT return against the Jags. Looked like he found a biscuit and was running away from anyone trying to take it.

Bringing up some classics. Traylor was Player of the Decade for the 1980s in Arkansas. Good thing football worked out b/c he wasn’t too bright. OU couldn’t even keep him academically eligible…LOL!

Most articles I read in the past week seemed to speculate that Drue wouldn’t command that kind of money in the open market.

Excited that Drue got paid and can play for a team that he obviously loves.

Congrats to him. He’s probably the pioneer for the recent uptick in NFL success from former Domers.
