Byrne is probably the most Irish name of the lot!

Byrne --> O'Broin --> "descendant of Bran" --> Bran mac Máelmórda, King of Leinster, Uí Dúnlainge.

"Bran mac Máelmórda . . . was a . . . descendent of Cathair Mór, an earlier king of Leinster, who was, according to medieval Irish legend and historical tradition, also monarch of all Ireland around 200 AD. Already mentioned above, just says that Miami has a slight lead going into the visit and this visit will be huge for ND bc he wants to make a decision shortly after this weekend. KC is looking to see how comfortable he is with the other players and getting all the information about the education process.

Early on the perception is the visit is going well. ND believes they are trailing Miami and so making up ground is a priority. They feel that so far the academic meetings have been going well. Also they believe that they need to work on the parents as well. That is also off to a good start. So all in all the first report from the first day of the visit is positive.

Like others have stated in the past. I think the most important part for KC is going to be the players and coaches and his interaction with them.

FYI - I just checked all of his ratings.

All of his listed on the first page are accurate, except for scout. He's now a 5-star, #3 overall OT.


Sidenote on ratings:

He's a .9874 composite on 247.
His 247 rating is 97, one short of 5-star status.
He's a 6.0 rating on rivals, which is .1 away from 5-star.

This guy's a stud.
