Socks with sandals is ok, I do it. It's completely unacceptable when you wear socks with sandals with the thing in between your first and second toe

Yes but he is wearing the Nike's with the strap across that velcroes on the side. So there is no thong thingy in the middle. Is that okay?

Yes that is ok, that what almost all kids do these days. I would rather have someone wear socks with sandals than have them show everyone their 5 inch toe nails

Most athletes ecspecially basketball players wear socks with sandals before a game/workout before switching to their game shoes/cleats

Sorry -- to further clarify, uniform athletic socks don't count as long as it's pre game. The pictures embedded were either shin high or white tube socks. I wore Adidas slip ons before my football or baseball game but never kept the socks on after the game... But again never acceptable with shin high or general white socks.

For the record, I'm a flip flop 24/7 guy. I even have furry ones for when it's cold or snowing. It's like walking on a cloud and super warm
