I don't get why he is visiting Utah...they don't even register a percentage in your synopsis.
His other prediction is either 5 star Matthew Thomas or EV, and I don't think either are going to USC, so I think he's off on this...
USC 247 site is saying the same thing. They are predicting Powell (supposedly a silent), Fitts (seems to be trending away from UCLA as you mentioned) and one of either Thomas, EV, or Tyler Foreman (UCLA commit that supposedly would jump at a SC offer if they gave him one). Thomas' momma said no to him going that far away but they are trying to convince his "handler" to let him come. Yeah if that doesn't sound sketchy.... Supposedly a guy that works at Booker T.
I have always felt like Fitts is a total USC homer and that USC will get him back after he's had some to get over the initial shock of being bumped to June enrollment. This weekend will tell whether I am right or wrong. ND, UCLA, SC -- none would surprise me.
Per 247 Kylie told some SC commits he is leaning towards UCLA but is giving SC one last shot tomorrow.

Meh. If he hasn't learned what a creep Kiffin is yet, let him go there and finish 7-6 for four years.
I think this kid loved/loves USC like we all love ND. If I were in his shoes and ND pulled the same thing, I'd have a hard time turning them down. I think most of us would. I'll be happy for the kid if he winds up at his dream school, but I personally think he'd be making a mistake.

Schrader just said that despite all USC's efforts, expect Fitts to sign with UCLA on Wednesday. I wish he was coming here, but going to UCLA is the second best thing.
That's 0-2 for "the source."
West Coast reporters like Hopkins and Schrader seem to have a West Coast bias though ... any chance of a Troy Niklas-like signing day surprise? or am I grasping at straws?
I'd be more inclined to think we had a better chance if distance wasn't always an issue. Plus as someone else mentioned, he has a sister at UCLA and a lot of friends there as well.
Chris Hawkins posted this morning on Rivals that Fitts will not sign with USC and will sign with UCLA. Other than his opinion on Max Redfield, he's been absolutely money with USC recruiting, scooping the media repeatedly. Fitts was there at USC last night, so it looks like he told the coaches in person. Stand up thing to do, driving over an hour to USC after officially visiting Utah, so he could have the conversation in person (if that's how it went down).
Everything I had read and heard from my friends/coaches out in L.A. about Hollins and Fitts told me that they'd both be signing with UCLA, which is what I wrote here. And then last week it looked like we had a real shot with them and I was thinking, "how friggin' wrong can I be???" LOL; but this news is much more in line with what I was hearing. Sucks for ND though.
(Still love this class...)

Why does this young man keep going public with these other kids decision and pre-empting their moment. I am sure they are not asking him to leak this stuff to the media. I think it is inconsiderate and I am not sure why anyone would include him in their calculus.
Announcing tomorrow for sure. Glad he's not going to USC!
