From Lynch's High School, but he may have transferred - his highlights and ESPN show his HS as Bishop Verot in Ft. Lauderdale

He likes ND, and he is in contact with Lynch.

Lots of DB prospects in Florida this year

USF did offer, just missed it initially

looks similar to the rest of the safeties we're going after right now...aggressive on the run, but average speed. "Just don't get beat deep" we've heard it for years. Zeke and Harrison aren't exactly burners, but they seem to be around the ball, especially Harrison, which is probably more important than speed.

Yea Harrison only ran the fastest time in the fourty at a nike combine of 4.34 in high school. Kinda slow

I would say his issues were poor coaching and resulting bad attack angles. This last year he was a legitimate burner in the backfield.

Are we in contention for him?

Doesn't appear so.

Diggs rolling thru road trip
By Phil Kornblut July 16

DB Jordan Diggs of Cape Coral, FL is getting out to see as many schools as he can before practice begins. Last week he was at Michigan State. Saturday he visited Georgia Tech and Sunday he will be at Tennessee. USC is also on his agenda and he may be in for the camp this week. Diggs also plans to visit Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Georgia, North Carolina and NC State. He's not identified a favorite. Diggs is the son of former USC linebacker Shed Diggs.

N.B. "USC" = South Carolina.

no he was ruled ineligible for transfering from BV to island coast cause his old high school coach/AD cried foul and thought something was shady and an appeal is pending.

He wasn't ruled ineligible because the former school "cried foul". The Florida High School Athletic Association ruled him ineligible because they didn't agree that the Lee Co School District should have granted him a hardship waiver to get around sitting out a year.

The viability of the hardship waiver is what the Appeal Board is considering.

Diggs ruled ineligible to play football by FHSAA

By Brian Colleran - email
By a vote of five-to-zero, an appeals committee from the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) upheld the ineligible status of Island Coast High School senior Jordan Diggs. The ruling means Diggs is not currently allowed to play football this fall.

Last spring, Diggs decided to leave Bishop Verot High School after attending school there for the last three years, eventually enrolling at Island Coast High School. Bishop Verot filed a complaint about the transfer of Diggs, their top player and one of the top-rated players at his position in the nation. The complaint lead to an investigation by the FHSAA that lead to Island Coast being cleared of any wrong-doing and Diggs' ineligible status.

The FHSAA gave Diggs five days to appeal their rulling. The 2011 High School football season begins at the end of the month with the pre-season classic games
