Goodman is slow and doesn't have a lot of playing time this year, and Chris Brown runs one route. Daniels is tall, has good hands, runs nice routes, and can catch the deep pass. None of our current receivers can come close to replacing him.

You mentioned the following reasons the Goodman and Brown cant come close to replacing Daniels.
Speed - Goodman is just as fast as Daniels and Brown is faster.
Playing time: Daniels is getting starters minutes for a reason but he couldn't see the feild last year and Brown is playing as a freshman. Goodman is a 5th year and gets a check mark in the experience category.
You say Daniels is tall ok then so is Brown and Goodman is taller.
You say Daniels has good hands, ok, Goodmans showing his this year too and Brown has yet to be seen. Daniels had some moments where his hands were not good.
Catching deep passes, Goodman got behind the defense on the big play early in the season when Golson threw across his body for the TD. And had another TD this week. Brown goes deep for 50 against Oklahoma.
In your effort to give Daniels props don't belittle the accomplishments and physical abilities of Goodman and Brown.
Has Daniels made some big plays for us this year yes, but I can recall some big mistakes he's made this year also. Yes I'm a Daniels fan and he will be missed but the next man in can come close to replacing him and will be expected to.

I also agree that Ferguson will get more playing time he is a bigger body possession similar to Daniels as he is now. But I think that Daniel Smith will be used in possession situations.

I think it's more likely that Daniel Smith is on the field more.

Either way, I want to see who will step up. I want to see what our boys are made of and if somebody will make a name for themselves.

I think Goodman is the next man up and he will be solid. This team all year has been stepping up at multiple positions. This will continue. NMU.NEXT MAN UP!!!!

He will be huge for this game! Every time he is about to break out he gets hurt. Feel like this could be the game!

Georgia was able to get behind bama's D just didnt connect on those opportunities. Think Daniels will be able to as well off of some play action.

DaVaris Daniels on #NotreDame interview list today. If he was still in bad shape/questionable from broken clavicle, don't think he would be.

DaVaris Daniels on #NotreDame interview list today. If he was still in bad shape/questionable from broken clavicle, don't think he would be.

Clarifying question:

This is saying: "Daniels is on the interview list. If he was still hurt/ not playing, it is unlikely he would be on the list. Therefore, he is likely playing."?

I just want to make sure someone else read it this way.

If he does play it is great news; he was getting a good rapport with Golson later in the season. It is good to have another taller threat along with Eifert.

Thanks Emcee. I am so good with the tweeter.
