You talk a big game, but 2 of the last 3 times OSU played Navy they were OSU wins by just 4 points or less. In the 3rd game OSU was only up by 3 with 5 minutes left before they scored 2 TDs to pull away. The Midshipmen are tougher than college football fans give them credit for, they tend to play disciplined and don't quit.

I was listening to the Locked On Badger podcast and they are doing a "call in" segment and it was really good. Their fans run the whole range: hopeful to realistic. My favorite line from one of the callers after being asked how he'll feel if Notre Dame plays like the #4 team in the country and wins convincingly:

"This Notre Dame team is really good, there are a lot of people picking them to win it all. So losing to them isn't like losing to USC or Maryland".

Might be my favorite line from another team's fanbase.

I looked up Colton Josephs game log from last year after nerves developed after seeing he ran for over 1,000 yards in 2025. He padded those numbers from three games. One was against Indiana which the runs came from broken plays and blown assignments once the game was out of reach. Its important to note that his passing numbers were dreadful in that Indiana game. The rest of the games were solid running numbers but nothing crazy. ND 38 Cheese 10

Maybe your whole comment is valid, but one of the 60+ TD runs he had against indiana I believe happened on the first play of the game.

Mobile QBs are most dangerous when they have the arm and receivers to complement the mobility. Idk anything about their QB or their receivers. With that being said, early camp reports weren’t very glowing of their pass game.

Now, insert what is arguably the best secondary in college football. I expect the secondary to do their thing. Use Sneed and/or KVA as a spy and have the DL be disciplined in their rush lanes.

Remember the Brennon Armstrong pearl clutching? He was much better and proven of a QB and still got schooled by ND. I would take NCSU skill positions from 2023 over 2026 Wisconsin everyday, which included KC Concepcion.

They played a lot of zone last year and a game like this is where it all pays off. No long quarterbacks runs against man coverage. Make them drive the field.

I’m willing to bet that they cannot do it enough to win.

Their OC Grimes is a wide zone guy, can do some creative stuff in run game. Joseph is a very poor passer, likely to focus on easy PA/RPOs and deep shots. Likes to confuse LBs and safeties. All he has to do is physically beat and mentally confuse the #1 LB and Safety unit in the county lol
