They have exactly 2/22 first stringers who are from WI, not that I think being GBP fans would give them a huge advantage when ticket sales are split and ND fans travel very well regardless.

Those are some big boys on the lines.

ND fans are also known for selling tickets

Wisconsin's offense is completely revamped. It's hard to know what to expect. As a fan, best I can probably do is look at Joseph at Old Dominion and get a feel for what Jeff Grimes has run in the past. Their OL is already banged up from the looks of things, too.

I don't think their defense is going to be able to carry them against ND. Or for an entire season.

Not only do ND fans travel well, I think playing at Lambeau to open the season would make this more attractive to ND fans.

If anyone needs a single, I have an extra ticket. Looking to recoup the $225 face I paid in the ND alum lottery. Section 351. Please send me a message if interested.

Not exactly a glowing response to expect their Top 2 OL to be 100% in a few weeks

I think Finley's NFL career was also considerably hampered by injuries. It's always good for young guys to hear from former pros to hear how post-football life can start much sooner than they ever anticipate.

It’s nice having a season opening game where we don’t have to discuss if the strength and conditioning staff has the team prepared for high humidity and dehydration.
Yeah but this time they need to worry about cheese curd and Miller lite consumption in that neck of the woods...hope they're up to the task

It’s just ranking Wisconsin’s position groups against each other
First of all, hats off to them for the level of introspection.
Reconstructing the top 3 - RB, QB, LB, special teams, or maybe DEs?

and 2, you pay for Badger Blitz, or was there a special free period I missed?

No QB was 5. Top 3 was LB #1 then RB or DE.

Not very rosy for the ND game:

- DT is #4 and notes they don’t have any game wreckers, but have depth. OL is #6 but top 2 could be hurt for ND game. CB is #7 and optimistic but little experience. WR is #8 and think transfer class was iffy. Safety at #9 notes they both were poor tacklers a year ago and didn’t go live in fall camp.

I was watching some Wiscy radio show/podcast with Barry Alvarez on the panel and the shock jocks were talking up Wiscy's chances and saying Notre Dame was overlooking them for Miami and when it was Alvarez's turn to speak he just said "Well, I don't think Notre Dame is thinking about a game in November (lol) but when you're heavy underdogs I guess that's what you've got to hope for." Made me think that he knows they're probably about to get cooked.

Barry was always a solid guy glad he's still active and hope he's in good health.

Wisconsin fans have always been pretty arrogant in my experience, so the show hosts' outlook isn't a shock. Hope springs eternal in the transfer era. Just another pull of the slot machine lever not knowing the house always wins. Unless their QB is truly phenomenal, I don't expect this to be our 4th toughest game. No reason to credit Fickell for his ability to build a winning culture at Cincinnati 4 years ago when Newberry's had back-to-back 10-win seasons with bowl wins. Heck, Cuse and BC were ranked in the AP poll more recently than Wisconsin.

How concerned are we about Wisconsin’s QB? He is the same style as Pribula isn’t he? I know it’s just ODU but seeing Pribula tear up NC State is concerning. I’m obviously not saying they are equal players but it sure puts a ton of pressure on a defense.

2025 Sun Belt player of the year and a dual threat. It will not be easy to keep him under control.
