That's really what this all boils down to. The SEC had it's run. NIL and The Portal took care of that. I will be curious to see who the next SEC National Champion will be and when it happens. You'd think one of the Texas schools, who are newer members at that.

In the strange world of the Granger family, my wife believes she sold a random bowl to Joanna Freeman’s mother at the garage sale we are having. She told my wife that she was out walking and wasn’t sure how to get back to the house she was staying at. Said she was visiting from Ohio, gave the street name and pointed in the direction of my besties house. Fingers crossed that my bowl ends up in the background of a Freeman family photo.

There are quite a few Clemson fans with very deep pockets, however, they aren't accustomed to having to shell it out. It's one thing to have the money, it's another to donate it. The Whataburger owner is a Clemson guy. It really feels like these schools killing it in NIL have 1 or 2 billionaires leading the charge.

I know a quick google search could answer this...BUT....Outside of Mendoza (who I've talked to multiple times and is a great down to earth guy) who are ND's biggest boosters?

I trust they’ve increased his pay since. There’s no reason he should be $5M behind the top paid CFB coaches. That’s insane.

That is not bad. That was pre-playoff run and he was at 8. I imagine he is in the 10-12 range now

Brian Moynihan went to Notre Dame Law School but is the chairman of the board at Brown (his undergrad). He appears in some ND stuff but isn't exactly a major donor.
Looks like Joe Ricketts went to Creighton. If he did go to Notre Dame (too?) there is strikingly little about it online.
The others, yeah, have donated a lot of money.

I've always felt like Notre Dame has a lot of very-well-off alums but not a lot of gazillionaires, compared to other top schools anyway.
