Wanted to use my first thread to publicly thank WildBill for some great counsel and insight into youth baseball. We started chatting randomly 1:1 a while ago and he has been a fun, funny, helpful chat partner and IE friend-I-haven't-met.

I know others have had similar experiences of friendship and helping each other out on here so wanted to start the thread to share the good vibes.

I’ve though about trying to be actual friends with some of you so I can hang out at your place and dump in your toilet when I travel in the USA. But you are all a lot of work.

Yep, I remember going to a game and seeing all y’all talk about meeting up for a tailgate and this and that and I saw a pop up fitting that description,……. Quickest hard turn in the opposite direction I’ve ever done.

I don't remember how I found IE, this place is always fun to visit.

My “online” ND fandom started when I discovered Her Loyal Sons. Those guys were pretty cool, kept the blog busy with articles and recruiting news, and the comment sections were usually pretty busy for a blog.

I had a college buddy that I would talk ND with, particularly on recruiting stuff. Whenever HLS had news, I’d text him or talk to him about it on campus when I saw him… and he almost always had the scoop before I did. One day, he told me he was getting the most recent Davonte Neal news on a website called Irish Envy.

I found Davonte Neal’s profile, created an account so I could share what I knew about how BK used similar athletes at UC, and that was all she wrote. @woolybug25 welcomed me, told me to stick around, then proceeded to almost never be nice to me again. Y’all have been stuck with me ever since.

The ‘19 Louisville Tailgate crew are the GOATs. @ulukinatme @arndtjc @Irish#1 @condoms SUCk @Some Irish Bloke and now honorary member @irishnd31

Haven’t met a single poster on IE but still consider several of them friends. Strange I know but I’ve been around more than a few years now and you somehow seem to get to know people as if you’re sitting on the patio with them having a beer. Cheers IE.
