Flight to LV from Big D cancelled this morning, as the overnight rain has turned to sleet and forecast is 80 straight hours below freezing. Will bunker in and geyt a batch of chili going and some homemade veggie/chicken soup. Ice around here is always a shutdown event.

My wife and her family are all into fishing and we go but we have a lot of trout out here,… not a fan of trout. The Rio supposedly has catfish in it and I love catfish but we’ve yet to fish the Rio

A week ago it looked like we could get hit with the most snow in decades. It moved north and we got rain and a little wintry mix. News channels are struggling to find footage of anything good. Lots of “a couple degrees colder and we’d all be buried in snow…”
