If he is drafted 4th round or above the. Fine otherwise a mistake. Would he be an absolute starter if he returned?

This would be pretty deterimental to the next year's team back in like the 2017 era. Right now, I really don't see it having that negative of an effect. Jagusah coming back, Black getting spun up, Absher coming back. We will be loaded once again at OL, even if Wagner leaves.

he’s had some injury issues. I don’t blame someone for wanting to move on with the next step of their career. Best of luck if it’s the case

The injury history will hurt his draft status, not help it. Strange decision but I highly doubt we encouraged it.

Get him more NIL. This would be more disappointing that the CFPs which I was prepped for.

Think that's a mistake, will go in the mid-rounds at best.
I agree. If you’re not going in the 1st or 2nd & can net a nice NIL, it may be worth considering. I suspect that in Schrauth’s case, he sees the injury history and doesn’t want to risk another year in college that may prevent him from being drafted at all. He probably isn’t in financial straits so it’s probably the best choice long term for him. Will miss him and always remember the SC game. Best of luck to the kid!

If he's not a guaranteed 1st or 2nd rounder, you absolutely have to make him an offer that he can't refuse. Ohio State did this with several players after the 2023 season.

His performance against USC will echo in eternity ☘️
Yup, really felt like he helped put the team on his back and gave it his all so we could dominate the trenches for that one. Reminds me of Theo Riddick and Robert Hughes, both shifted into another gear to help us get the win against SC. Billy got injured and came back banged up in that one only to get taken out again and put on the shelf.

Not expected back per Matt Freeman.

Huge loss. Can lose one or Aamil or Billy, not both.

Tbf his wording with Billy is very different than it is for Sneed, Shuler, Bowen. He expects them to be back. He doesn’t think Billy will be. Maybe it’s my blue and gold glasses but I take that as the jury is still out on Schrauth.
