Awesome. I also have a huge compost pile. All organic and compostable things in my house go there. I never had a real example to follow growing up until I met my (future) wife. My city also accepts most recyclable materials as well and it is super easy. I make my parents save their recyclables and then I go and sort them for them. They live in a rural area with a convenience center that accepts some but not all of what I can. My youngin is already doing it. Does it without any questions. He even helps me collect all of my longleaf pine needles and magnolia leaves twice a year. Sometimes I have enough for my yard and I bundle them up and leave the excess in my driveway for the neighbors. Costs me $3.00 for a bundle of twine. The appreciation of my neighbors is priceless. I guess its hard to sell that to someone who may not know what that is like.

Because I focus on green containers and organic foods and minimized carbon footprints getting the products to the shelf etc so that costs money and time. I do a lot of research and ask tons of questions before I buy most things also . I am annoying to customer service people. I also spend lots of time and effort sorting what garbage I do have into things I can and cannot recycle so my neighbors get to see that alot. Its worth it to me though.
Thats a good song, always loved it: www.youtube.com/embed/BkAlr90k23Y?rel=0
Despite being born in '82 I was raised on 60s and 70s music and still prefer it to today's garbage. I never realized that Nash was part of the Hollies, another band that I enjoy. You can kind of hear the influence though when you hear some of the music.
Can't rep you again, too much given out the last 24 hours. 62 isn't bad, you aren't much older than my old man. I expected you to be farther along based on all the jokes around here. Plus, you're only as old as you feel.
Yep. GB is a pompous, self-important and ungracious ass. Moreover, he doesn't respond well to a bit of good natured ribbing.
Nice man thanks for the kind words. Like I really give a shit what a 85 year old man thinks of me. All you need is to take one look at you and realize my life isn't complete shit where I need to follow a poster around and correct his grammar errors
No kidding. Jeez thats quite the technic to stay warm. I was born in Denver so I'm familiar with cold but not that cold.
I'm down and interested for boring stories if you're down to tell. But thats up to tha D'shan. (You know how gangsta that sounds right? "Lil' Weezy and D'shan hit up the number one track this week")
