Some first half random thoughts:

- Sheldon Day is a beast and will be one of the best, plain and simple.

- Tommy's stock dropped IMO. I didn't see any glaring signs of improvement.

- Hendrx and Golson look like the real deal but each struggle with their own vices.. Golson has fumbled the snap and Hendy has made some bad decisions. But overall they have both moved the ball much more impressively than Tommy. Everett in my opinion made the best case for starter going forward

- ISHAQ! You can absolutely tell he is playing more confidently.

- Mathias Farley has been all over the field.

- THEO freakin RIDDICK.. This kid looks primed to have a breakout season. They have him doing it all on O and he looks quick and confident.

- There is still an issure at CB although GAlittle has had his hands on a few throws and looks pretty decent but not spectacular in any way.

- Haven't heard or seen much on Lo.

- Eifert is Eifert and will put up huge numbers.

- GAII, besides the fumble and dropped toss has looked like the playmaker ND has been missing for years... He will be exciting to watch this year.

- The lines and LBs are seriously deep and talented.

- I think the only real issue this team has is at CB..

- All around solid performances today..

- This is a very talented team on both sides of the ball.. I think we have potential for 9-10 wins this year.

Not to be confrontational, but from what you have seen how do you start anyone but Golson. Hendrix is a better option than Rees but his pass to Ishaq looked like a flashback to the FSU game and highlights the fact that he regularly does not see defenders who are right in front of him. I am not down on Andrew but he is not as experienced as Golson in a passing offense and there are still some rudimentary aspects to the passing game that he is lacking. IMO Golson gives us the best chance at a dynamic offense.

What a fun game to watch. I really like GA3 and hope Golson builds on today and wins the job. BK's offense would look a whole lot different with him over Tommy. Hendrix had some good plays too. That being said I think Golson clearly has the bigger upside. And he has a cannon. Nice to see Ishaq have a couple nice plays as well.

After watching the spring game, I'd like to see Golson at QB and some 2 RB sets. There's so much talent and speed with Wood, Riddick, Atkinson, and Carlisle tht needs to be heavily utilized behind a strong OL.

Ignore he lack of big time college football experience. He ran this system all throughout high schol and has been with coach kelly for a year now. Will be around a year and a half come september.

Had multiple great reads. made something out of nothing a few times. came out head and shoulders above the competition imo

I like Golson. I think he'd get away with throwing 20 or less passes a game, and our offense will still be dynamic. His feet are a problem combined with our 2005 USC-type stable of RB's, defenses will have to cheat up, and Eifert is like Shaq posting up in the middle of the field.

I'm with you GH. Loved everything excep GK throwing to 10th string guys. Wish we could have seen a series with him with the first team. I only caught a portion, so maybe he did.
