The only other team we need to worry about is OSU.

+1 It was mentioned a few pages ago that Jaylon like Florida too. Glad to see there are no heavy hitters in that group other than us and O$U. If he goes to Purdon't or Indiana I'd be pissed, but still laugh about it.

Where are we in the order of visits? If we're last I'd feel really, really good.

When I saw he update I was pretty concerned that the other two schools besides ND and OSU were going to be UF and USC or Alabama or some other powerhouse. I can live with Indiana and Purdue. :)

Cant put it into words how much Manti has helped ND, the perfect Notre Dame student athlete. Ive been putting it off for a bit but, Te'o is my official favorite player, just an inch above Quinn.

As for Jaylon, hes at the top of my list

If we can get him up for a practice and he still comes to the spring game too.... curtains.

Actually after looking at a calendar, He will probably just visit Purdue the week after next and then our spring game is the following weekend.

I think he is going to Florida (the beach, not for college visits) for Spring Break so a visit during the week before then seems unlikely.

I could easily see him popping at the Spring Game. But as the pessimists (they think they are realists) would say: "he gone."

I get that you're clearly upset that some people seem pessimistic, but I don't think anyone on here thinks we don't lead.

You've made a lot of posts just like this and they're all stupid.

On a separate note, it's only a matter of time before Jaylon commits to ND.

I am hoping to get the message across that is starting to get annoying. I am sure there are some who think O$U leads because of his brother, dont underestimate the stubbornness of a pessimist.

Name some specific people who don't like our chances. Even the people that you dub 'pessimists' think he's leaning toward ND.

What I can't figure out is why you find it necessary to repeatedly present the "pessimist's" view, completely unprovoked. It's as if you feel the need to create conflict because almost everyone thinks Jaylon's going to commit to us.

What's annoying is that you think this is a site for a circle jerk regarding the Irish. What you should know is that this is a site for Irish fans, and inevitably there are going to be varying opinions. If you're annoyed that not everyone gushes about an 8-5 football team, then that's your problem.

I dont know about how everybody here feels about their brother but if I would have a chance to play on the same field with mine it would be hard to turn down. I am hoping and wishing more than anyone here he chooses Notre Dame but his brother at Ohio State is a huge uphill battle for us. With that said come on Jaylon you know u want to be Irish!!!

Gotta agree here. Where is anyone saying we aren't sitting pretty for Jaylen? Then why bring that crap to this thread Hoosier?

And I don't think we lead for Ty Isaac. So am I a pessimist? I also don't think we'll go 11-1. Does that make me a pessimist? I skew towards the positive normally, but I also like to think that I am a realist as well. Hoosier, no matter how much you try and bang on people for not being 1000% rosy on the Irish on this site, they're still going to have a voice on this site.

So leave it alone w/ the whole 'pessimist' stuff on every single thread. Thanks...

Seriously. I think what cemented his place in ND lore for me was the video where he explained why he came back for his senior year. I love it when kids have that much maturity, leadership, and priorities. Even better is that he's Jaylon's role model. That can only mean good things.

If we can get him up for a practice and ge still comes to the Spring game too.... curtains.

That would be huge, I agree. So far this spring getting the recruits on campus merely for practice has worked wonders. Kelly & Co. are out in full force right now. I thought though that Jaylon was already confirmed for the spring game?
