Evaluations
Scout: He is one of the most explosive players in the country. He is literally a threat to score any time he touches the ball. He has game changing speed and the ability to change gears on the fly. He is elusive in the open field and is a very dangerous return man. Big time vertical threat who can go up and get the ball. Possesses outstanding ball skills and seems to come up big when he needs to. Still raw and learning with every rep. Bob Lichtenfels

he is quick, though I am not a fan of his highlights... Most of them are him playing QB and just running around people. He is quick I give him that, would have liked to see more WR play from him... He had some good defensive highlights though.

All I have to say is look at his offer list!

He reminds me of Rob Woods coming out of high school.

Supposedly Malik Zaire has been telling people that him and Foster want to go to the same school. It sounds like that is definitely Zaire's desire, I don't know how "on board" Foster is with this.

pOSU thinks they lead for Zaire, so they also feel they lead with Foster

Watched his video with my two-year old son. We both enjoyed it, he even said 'Go ND'.. lock it down.

Never really heard of this kid following western PA football.. given he was only a Soph in games I would have seen. Plus he only plays AA ball (bigest is AAAA in the WPIAL), but don't get me wrong the AA competition in the WPIAL is pretty strong. His team played Rushel Shell's (Hopewell) this past season and beat up on some other pretty good programs. But the disparity in the talent is kind of big.

To me, he looks a bit raw as he really has had to rely just on his athleticism to this point. That said, he is a great athlete and could really be an amazing player.

Does anyone know if where we are recruiting him? I like him as a DB, but im not sure.

Would be interesting to see him matched up against a powerhouse AAA or AAAA team to see how he does versus top competition all over the field. The AA programs really have some stud athletes (Pryor, Cox, Shell, etc.), but the bigger teams really have a bunch of 3 star guys across the field.

With his height and speed I can't see him playing anything other than WR

Oh I know Central valley always is pretty strong. They (AA) seem to produce more star athletes than the AAA or quad A schools. Im just saying AAAA is stronger all around, mainly because of the number of kids they have. CV is one of the best AA program in the state for sure.

Wow, kid looks unreal. Love that we're getting some real interest from him too, getting him on campus and whatnot. Midwest and the peripheral states are loaded with talent this year.

Other than the fact that its Urban Meyer, I don't see why we can't go head-to-head with OSU, at least for kids like this. We have a 5:s: qb in the fold; we are about to have a WR go in the first round in the NFL draft; we are a real university. We have plenty to sell. This staff has done a good job recruiting, but its time to go head-to-head with USC, Stanford, Michigan and OSU and win at least 50% of these battles.

I agree. I think that we'll end up doing ok against those. It's the schools that have lost all concept of integrity, academics, and the like that we may never be incredibly successful against.

true, but at the same time, those are the type of recruits that we rarely offer.

We wont start winning 50% of those battles until we can start beating that level of competition more than 50% of the time. Once that happens, everything you listed will make it very easy.

We need a big time outside receiver in this class. Onwualu is a good slot player but we really need that outside threat we had with Floyd and that we thought we had with the cousin of the player who transferred today.
