This is all so ridiculous. I feel for the teachers... they tell their students that education is the key to success but then put on a show over a kid who can play football. They should hold a similar celebration next time one of their former students gets into a great college or graduate school. Events like this largely contribute to students thinking that they'll make a living playing sports when what they really need is to focus on their studies.
