lol. The kid has a very good offer list. In terms of our guard recruiting I still like Bosch better but this kid isn't that far behind. IMO picking up Bosch is like picking up Joshua Garnett from last years class in terms of star power.

His father is the OLine Coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I saw him play in the Western Finals last year against Central Dauphin. He is very physical player.

haha, beat me to it.

From what Ive heard, is that he was strongly considering PSU (last spring), and now is a Stanford lean.
Comes from a great Head Coach (Art Walker Jr.) and I would wager he has great technique (especially with his dad).

Seriously, this **** needs to stop. Stanford being good is the #1 thing killing ND right now and I'm not even joking. We are losing so many "academics first" kids to that school it is sickening.

And I don't blame them at all.

If they weren't relevant we would have landed both Alex Carter and Noor Davis last year. Sucks

Yeah Stanford needs to resume their role a Pac-12 bottom-dweller, and quickly.

or we just start winning games and beating Stanford when we play them each year... That will turn a lot of heads our way. :)

How can anyone blame them? Stanford is the west coast Ivy League school. If I wasn't such a dumbass, I'd love to go to Stanford's astrophysics graduate program above everything.

That would sting. I mean how many mutual targets are we going to lose to them? It's too early to be legitimately worried but I'm at least getting annoyed.

Don't be so diplomatic.

It (UM's recruiting) is pissing me the **** off

Heck that would make 5 for the year so I think that hits their quota.

After that they may be like "well don't worry about the outsiders let's just stay focused on keeping what we got. It is a solid haul."

If that is the case that would be good for ND to knock out another competitor. Honestly, if I was an OL recruit and a team is recruiting me with 5 OL already committed then I...I...would definitely look elsewhere.

Not directed toward you glory, but there are quite a few people who think they'd be done with just 5, however, if Kugler commits, that makes 5. If Pocic, or Tunsil, both of whom are still considering them want to commit, I think they'd take one if not both. I know 7 is a high number, but Stanford took 6 damn good recruits along the OL last year, while we ended up with 2. We need to make some headway this cycle with our OL class. Elmer was an excellent start, but losing out on Bosch was a huge fail IMO.

UM commit

...too late

Excellent OL class haul by them. That should take them out of the running for anymore OL and ND reaps the benefits.

That's 5 OL for them. Looks like they're going to be done with OL recruiting. No way they take 6, right?

So now we just have to close hard with McGovern, Pocic, and Bivin. I think we should be able to get at least 2 of those 3.

Throw McGlinchey in there and I think we land two of the four. This is a very deep OL class in the Midwest/Northeast. We have two big junior days coming up this month with a ton of talent coming in.

We may not have 13 commits by the end of this month but we'll pick up some momentum for sure. Everyone needs to remember that this is a small class for ND.

March will be a good month for ND recruiting.

But with last cycle's small haul, I was pretty sure that the numbers carried over for this class to be a little bigger.

I hope March is a good month for the Irish, because I'm sick and ****ing tired of seeing Michigans success on the recruiting trail.

I'm a staunch supporter of BK and I hope he reels in a damn good class this cycle.
