At first, reading the title on the front page, I thought this was going to be another on the ledge poster, which I know you are not. Thanks for the laugh...between this and the brief membership of the UH guy...this has made my day

What an accomplishment of negative recruiting by Chizik. Wait till McKinzy finds out there is one on campus.

Have to love the excuses kids make for choosing one school over the other.

Then again to be on the safe side maybe BK should add to the list of things to do. A tour of all the local restaurants.

Rumor on the street is that we might replace burger king with a chick fil a whenever their contract runs out in LaFun. Well never lose a recruit again

I think BK (the coach, not the restaurant) should find out every recruit's favorite fast food restaurant...and promise them there will be one on campus if he comes. He could also make it a little more exciting by guaranteeing it's the premier Taco Bell or KFC in the nation.

"Son, we've got the number 1 ranked Taco Bell in the country, the number 1 ranked White Castle, we presently have the number 2 ranked Mickey D's, but a donor just gave $5 million to redo it...so it's just a matter of time before it's ranked number 1."

I can totally understand this. We don't have chick-fil-a up here in the north, so anytime my fiance and I go to stay at her parents' house in Florida I insist we make the 20 minute drive to chick-fil-a immediately upon arrival. Then I go at least once a day each day I'm there. Obviously, she and her parents think that I am insane, but I don't care. That spicy chicken is worth it.

It does go to show you how off the mark our grown-up expectations are for these kids...OK so DG is a bit more advanced than this kid...but he is somewhere between this buffoon and our way of thinking...not hard to see any kid making a very long term decision on short-sighted BS...

Plus, those uniforms the chicks in Chick-fil-a wear are HOT! It's always been a dream of mine to hook up with a Chick-fil-a girl.
