So, yeah Davonte Neal, glad to know we have a real shot at him. We might actually have a legit punt returner! He will kill it in the slot too.
Supposedly his "best friend", senior linebacker Cody Ippolito, just committed to Arizona. I don't know if he is really his best friend or the Arizona newspaper is stretching things or even if it will make any difference in Neal's decision
Nor sure how much an unofficial to AZ would cost him. Without knowing how far away he is, every article and report make it sound like he's pretty close.. Could be way off though, anyone know for certain?
Can anybody tell me why Neal is waiting until after NSD to choose a school? Is it possible that OSU is the favorite, but he is waiting to see what Diggs does before he makes a decision?
I think he could in to ND as a freshman and realistically compete right away for punt return duties and playing time in the slot behind Toma.
To turn down OSU on the spot tells me this decision is going to be a very well informed decision.
Bwahahahahah yeah OK Mike Farrel.... who was the source? Someone "close to the situation"? Everyone on the internet thinks he's going to be a Buckeye and no one knows when he will sign. He's just regurgitating what's already on the message boards.
When do insiders specifically reveal their source?
when does diggs announce? that would be the key information needed to make this prediction.
Also, Coach D just made a post echoing what I'm saying. Farrel is being a doucher and jumping the gun.
Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) football coach Bob Milloy said that wide receiver Stefon Diggs is unlikely to sign on Wednesday, the first day of the national letter of intent period for football.
Diggs, a 6-foot, 185-pound receiver who was a member of the All-USA first team , had 36 catches for 808 yards and scored 13 touchdowns this season.
"I think he is a little confused right now," Milloy said. "He's got a little bit of a decision to make. He just got back from a visit to Ohio State."
Diggs' most prominent pursuers include Auburn, California, Florida, Maryland and Ohio State.
He is ranked No. 8 overall prospect in the country by Rivals.com.

He spoke with Luke Neal this week and he would be absolutely shocked if Neal signs today. Luke Neal was very clear that they have a lot to discuss and that they want to take more visits. Neal also indicated that the OSU speculation has been slightly overblown because of their family in the area.
