Do you guys think he has a potential?

GeorgeAtk3: "Start'N track practice today"
Does anyone else see this want to see this guy at receiver if Riddick plays running back in 2012? I know Kelly has said emphatically that GAIII's future is at running back, but if next year we have Wood, Riddick, McDaniel, Roberson (assuming he gets healthy) and the incoming freshmen at RB, then Carlisle in 2013, it may get crowded. GAIII is a playmaker and we want to get him the ball one way or another, plus he is SO fast ... I guess we just have to see how things shake out in the spring.[/QUOTE]
i think that will be the case to how things end up at RB
I like that he's sticking out track. I hope he's not ignoring those cone/agility drills though. It seemed that although he has great speed, he doesn't seam to make quick cuts which is more important at RB than straight line speed.
What do you guys think?
What about a move to Safety? I believe that's where a lot of the recruiting services projected him coming out of high school. It would be great to have that range in the defensive backfield. I just don't seem him being very successful at RB because of his lack of lateral movement and cutting ability which is essential in the spread system. Just a thought.
Obviously this is interesting for the Darby recruitment. Josh, George, Chris Brown, and Darby would be a big talent injection for the track team.
GA III is
I wonder if his brother will be joining him on the track team? I believe Josh is almost as fast and they did track together in High SchoolGA III is

#NotreDame football players George Atkinson (6.90) & twin Josh Atkinson (6.98) both qualified Fri for Sat's 60m semis at Indiana Relays.
Here's the results. It looks like George would have placed 7th Meet Results For comparison Darby runs that race in 6.77
