Maybe Byron Marshall reopens his recruitment? not that we really have any room for another rb...

After this Armstead has to be thinking his destiny is with Notre Dame.
Armstead
Seriously though 10 days to signing day and he bolts.
The bucs weren't going anywhere until Feb. 2nd.
Plus Thomas leaving for the NFL.
I'm saying the NCAA is moving onto campus way before 6 months.
I'll be shocked if we don't hear their on campus before Feb. is over and Thomas is some how connected.
I'm not saying that Kelly's offense will work in the NFL, but neither am I willing to rule it out. Everyone thought the Dolphins were crazy, when they started running the Wildcat. They made it work, and not just as a "once in a while" gimmick. Kelly's offense is run heavy, not trickeration heavy. If he can make some tweaks here and there, I'm certain that he could have some success with it, even if only on a limited basis. But the guy is smart. I'm sure that he could probably successfully coach a number of different offenses.
You don't see the Wildcat too much anymore now, do you. Sorry, but the house money is that he will fail miserably. If you cannot play defense and run the ball, you won't be winning much. Unless you are the Patriots that is.
Oregon had a very stout defense, last year. And they run the ball pretty well, ya know?
But, again.... it's not like Kelly has to run the same offense that he does at Oregon. He's a sharp guy, and I'm sure he can probably coach in a pro style offense.
They did?
chip kelly just accepted the bucs coaching job straight from this website

Tampa Bay Bucs: Multiple reports are circulating that Chip Kelly will be named the Bucs next head coach. We have now confirmed.
60th in yards per game allowed before bowl season.
Chip Kelly has agreed to terms with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will be announced as the team's next head coach, according to a report from the Register-Guard's Adam Jude. Citing an athletic department source, Jude is reporting the deal is done, though nothing has been announced by the Buccaneers.
Rumors of Kelly's departure for Tampa Bay began to swirl on Sunday evening, spurred on by a report from KGW in Portland. From there, the rumors snowballed, with the Tampa Bay Times confirming that Kelly and the Bucs were close to finalizing a deal. As the night wore on, more reports continued to trickle in, each indicating Kelly was NFL-bound, barring a last-minute snag.
Jude also added players and assistants were not told of Kelly's plans as all of this unfolded.
One member of the team told The Register-Guard the players have been left "in the dark" about Kelly's intentions. Players were instructed Sunday night to attend the team's scheduled conditioning workouts today, according to a source.
Kelly led the Ducks to an incredible amount of success during his tenure at the helm, including an appearance in the BCS Championship game and two Rose Bowl game appearances -- the second of which resulted in a victory over Wisconsin this January -- in his three years as head coach.
We'll be back with more as it becomes available.
RT @AdamJude_RG: BREAKING: Chip Kelly changes his mind, tells a highly placed UO source: "I'm staying."
They did?
By "last year", I didn't mean this past season (2011). I meant the season before (2010), when they played in the title game. If you watched that game, their defense held a very good Auburn offense in check, for a large portion of the game.
Okay. Thought you meant the 2011 season obviously. He's a good college football coach regardless. I'm sure Oregon is happy to keep him, but I still think there are sanctions coming

LSUFreak is awesome.
He's staying. His gig is too good here in Eugene. Base + bonuses last year probably a cool $4 million. In this town... yikes
