I hope all the talented recruites for ND get in the ear of Darby and lead him to South Bend. Better yet send Lynch and Tuitt to his home bagging him up and bring him where he belongs. All I can say is never count Kelly and Company out!

Sapp said that multiple players/commits have tried, but that no one has been able to get in touch with Darby. He's apparently incommunicado atm.

so is there any news of wither the Diaco/Cooks early visit...or the Kelly late visit?

has it been confirmed for sure that kelly really did visit later in the day? strange to me

also wonder if diaco cooks did their visit and left completely?...or did they grab (coffee haha) and return with BK or was it just BK solo in the home for the second visit?

darby going silent during this critical phase may not be a bad thing

I'm ok with silent to the press given all the momentum we have tight now. But, given that he was seemingly influenced by the FSU commits at the UA game, I'd surely like him to start rechatting it up with our ND commits.

Just my opinion, but when you don't respond to calls/texts from players from the team you just decommitted from, it's probably not a good thing.

Yuri will be a nice consolation prize. He's rated higher than Darby by 2/3 sites, if you're into the ratings.

I'm into ratings, but I'm into Darby's speed even more.

Totally agree about the not responding to potential teammates point.

My gut tells me RD doesn't like confrontation. He bailed right before the quiet period, I think in large part because he didn't want to deal with the immediate pressure. I think now he's mulling things over, and just wants to be left alone to think. Him not texting to me is not a bad thing. Probably means he's not texting his F$U buddies too. Just saying.... Going to be positive about this (and the Decker situation) for now. We need that SEC speed baby!!!

Kuehnja, I couldn't agree more about both of the noncommunication and Yuri being a nice consolation prize. Although, I don't consider Yuri a consolation prize....I'd prefer Darby because his speed and I think his instincts are better, but in no way would I be unhappy if we ended up with just Yuri.

NOT AT ALL what I wanted to hear, especially after we just had an in-home with him. Kelly is still waiting for his chance. I get the desire to get the last word in. I just hope it doesn't backfire by Darby making up his mind in the meantime. Either way, I am certain that our coaches will be aggressive the whole way through.

DB Ronald Darby of Oxen Hill, MD will not take any more visits his coach Donnell Douglas said Wednesday. Darby had looked at taking a visit to Clemson this coming weekend but is set on his final three of Auburn, Florida State and Notre Dame. The Tigers and Seminoles are the top two with him according to Douglas. Darby visited Florida State last weekend.

As of Tuesday! With Tee!!!

On Darby, he is a stud. And would be an impact here. And I want him Irish really bad. 2 Shutdown Corners!!!!!! Sick.

But, I feel Darby has been looking to leave since committing. I just have a bad feeling that he may have used us as leverage.

I think he wanted to be wooed. And wants something different.

Oh well, I feel we have very little chance at him now. Time to find other CB's to load up.

Go Irish!

He doesn't need leverage, any program would take him. Track has gained importance in the last few weeks.
