LOL. Sorry. I intended to mean we shouldn't look at Young Mr. Fuller as someone we just make room for. I meant it as a compliment to him. Take his spot, take on the challenge of being the QB at Notre Dame, be the man! I think he's a young stud. If he's the best QB, then come be the best QB.

First post. Just joined today, although I have been reading IE for almost 2 years. Anyway, although it was a foregone conclusion, I just talked to Devin Fuller on twitter (I'm @pardonthyflow) and he confirmed that he is no longer considering Notre Dame.

not much of a surprise to be honest. Would have made a great athlete, but he was committed to playing QB at the next level, and with Gunner Kiel committing, there is no room for him... Plus, I think I will like Golson more than Fuller. After watching their highlights this is what I see
Golson = Pass first, run when you need to.
Fuller = Run first, pass when you feel like it.
I prefer Golson's style of play over Fuller's, especially in the Notre Dame offense, we dont need a Denard Robinson type of player, we need a passer who can escape and run when necessary or when it is wide open to run 7-15 yards.
