I know it is early but it had to be done. I think it is interesting just to see what everyone thinks about next year's schedule. Six of next year's opponents are listed in top 25.

I dont want to be ranked in the start of the season and I dont think we deserve to be ranked. I want them to earn a spot in the top 25.

Michigan State isn't going to be ranked at the start of next year. They are losing their whole offense(whick is Cousins).

I think the main reason we're ranked is because of our defense

I found this link through ESPN. Not sure what they know, but Eifert is listed as returning star player on offense. Lo Wood listed as starting at one corner and no mention of Golson on two deep. Actually sounds like they don't know much this early. TIFWIW

I'd take Leveon Bell over any one of our tailbacks, at this point.

This is a JOKE! Michigan State and Michigan will/should end up in the top 10. Georgia #5????? Really? Us at #22????? This looks like a girl picked this top 25 just by liking the mascot or nickname. Get real.

Preseason rankings shouldn't exist, and arguing about them is one of the derpiest habits of CFB fans.

They play in the League of the God's....... that is all.

What about Bama at 2??? With what they will be losing on D, without evening thinking about early outs???

Vegas released odds on the national champion for next year. Irish open at 25:1 which puts them at 12th if you were to rank teams by odds. Michigan and Oklahoma opened at 20:1 and I think Southern Cal was better then that, maybe 6:1?

Georgia will be favored in every game except South Carolina, and thats because they are at home.I'm so glad schedule our is brutal, because if you want to be the best, you got to beat the best.Notre Dame will be fine once Golson is the QB.

@AdamSchefter:

Oklahoma announced Landry Jones staying in school -- one less QB in April.

The Irish will be facing two Heisman-caliber QBs next season that most expected to declare for the draft. With an inexperienced secondary.

Temper your expectations.

Why couldn't we get that run of QB's Tebow and the Broncos got this year in their schedule? Oh well, I guess something else I can blame on him another reason for me to dislike Tebow.

Baylor, Stanford, and Okie Lite are all gonna be crashing down to earth next season.

Clemson should be nowhere near the top 12 after that showing last night.

MSU shouldn't be in the top 20, maybe 20-25 at the most.

I think FSU might also be a bit too high. Probably should be 20-25.

I think ND is actually pretty good at 22. IMO, next year, ND will be much better than their record shows.
