I don't care much for the NFL, but when it's on I'll watch it. All I can say is I've seen the Jets more than anybody this year and I can't even put into words how bad Sanchez is. I mean he is pathetic. The Jets cannot possibly think he's the future, right? Are there any Jets fans on here who can tell me what I'm missing here and why the Jets haven't traded for some team's third-stringer to play for them? I'd take Vince Young at this point.

If I was that bad at any part of my job, let alone being bad at every part, there's no way I'd have a job any longer. And this guy is getting millions. Unreal.

I knew from the very begining that he was going to blow there. He has very good WR's to throw but he can't throw. The jets with Ryan are becoming a laughing stock of the NFL.

Are there any Jets fans anywhere? Somehow they fill Giants Stadium, but I've lived in New York for five years and I've only met like 4 or 5 of them, and they were all gross.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I love watching them on TV so I can root against them.

Especially love watching them get Tebowed on national TV. Tomorrow will be fun on sports radio!

What's going to be interesting is hearing how Colin Cowherd defends Sanchez this time. He is an unabashed Sanchez supporter (USC, duh) and last week claimed Sanchez wasn't handcuffing this team, but the "ancient" receiving corp. was handcuffing Sanchez. You know, two studs who have recently won superbowls for their teams in Holmes and 6'5" Burress, but are just too decrepit to be any good. And a receiver in tight end clothing who is a playmaker and freak athlete in Keller who, at mid-20's, is just way too old to play at a high level. And then there's always LT and Shonne Green, who are just awful and hold Sanchez back. I feel for the kid, I mean his offensive line is just too good! They give him time and force him to think, something Pete Carroll never made his QBs do because he simply surrounded them with the most expensive talent in college.

Maybe this can put in perspective just how bad Sanchez really is... this came to me in the shower this morning:

Rex Grossman had almost the exact same structured team around him in 2006. Great receiving corp., great running game, great offensive line, and one of the NFL's best defenses to clean up his mistakes. He went all the way to the Superbowl.

Yep, Sanchez is THAT bad. He honestly makes Grossman look like Peyton Manning back there. And he made Tebow look like Steve Young last night. This is just unbelievable at this point.

Man I hate the NFL.

HEYYY TAKE IT EASY!! IM A JETS FAN!! Maybe the only one on this board. And last time i checked, im not "gross" LOL

And yes sanchez blows. and yes for the record i NEVER wanted them to draft him. And to this day my family recognizes my superior football knowledge because 3 years ago I was the only one who knew sanchez was going to be garbage!!! I never wanted him from the start!! I want me some LUCK!!! LOL

Jets Offense:

Pro-Bowl caliber offensive line: CHECK
Hall of Fame running back still producing: CHECK
Pro-Bowl caliber number one receiver: CHECK
Pro-Bowl caliber tight end: CHECK

I think the issue on offense is quite obvious. If only Cutler had the help Sanchez does.

Jet Fan here...Season ticket holder.

Where do we start with Sanchez..

1. He is from USC, so he was already behind the 8 with me...

2. He cannot hit the open man, ever.

3. He locks into receviers all the time.. ie last night pick 6. The DB broke on the route before the pass was even thrown!

4. He is too busy with himself to actually put real work in.

5. Hard Knocks exposed him to being a bit too immature to handle NY.

6. He sucks

7. He has everyone around him!! O Line, receivers, TE, RBs...

8. Schotty being in OC doesn't help.

9. He sucks

10. He's from USC

Just wanted to get to 10. Before the past two games, everyone around here blamed Schotty for being the sole problem of the offense. "It's not his fault, did you see the play calling?" Rubbish! Sanchez may be exacerbated by Schotty, or the other way around, but clean house, son. He can't be my QB for the next 7-10 years... I'd slide to the GGGGGGGG-Men...

BTW, when we traded up for him, I was in Florence with the lady. Called collect home to bash the move... dropped $$$ on the call... maybe another reason to dislike him...

I thought about the QB comparison last night during the game as well. My thought was, of all the mess that is talked about Tebow not being a NFL QB, Sanchez isnt any better....and thats a knock on Sanchez. With Tebow, ppl know what they have. With Sanchez, ppl think he will get better, which doesnt look like its gonna happen.

Sanchez in a nutshell.

The beauty of having a head coach who talks to much, the media loves him thus they are playing on national tv every week

There is no reason that with the weapons around him that he isn't better then he is. I would think that if after this year or next if he isn't improving that they will start to look at other options. I always thought that this was a bad pick for them.

Hey, Petey tried to warn Sanchez that he wasn't ready for the NFL?!

In all seriousness, I love that this is happening to loudmouth Rex Ryan. Surely his players are getting tired of the undue pressure he constantly puts on them.

Mark Sanchez = Tommy Rees of the NFL on so many levels. Lots of turnovers and flaws, but that all got glossed over because he was "young" and the Jets were making deep playoff runs. The bottom line is he holds the ball too long and makes poor decisions and has shown very little progression. Whether that's his fault or the coaching I'm not sure.
