Look at the brains on Brett!
That's MY ****ing line.
Look at the brains on Brett!
As far as TV ratings for games goes, I think they need us, a lot more than we need them.
I think it's time to join a conference.

We are Notre Dame, a conference joins us.:awesomewo

Of course those delusional pricks don't want to play us, they need room on the schedule for the Decatur GA school of doughnut making so they can bitch and moan about how they deserve to be in the rose bowl, when they've only beaten 1 ranked opponent in 2 seasons.
Haha, I'm sure Swarbrick and Fr. Jenkins will soon be accepting applications from the various conferences.
While Brandon said he wouldn’t want to predict anything in the long term -- and he said 2017 is not considered long term in his view of football scheduling -- if the current schedule were to remain the same, the Irish will remain on the schedule.
That schedule would be eight Big Ten games, a home or away game with the Big Ten/Pac-12 agreement, a home or away game against Notre Dame and two non-conference home games.
“They like to play us and we like to play them so that game continues to be on our schedule,” Brandon said. “As it relates to the long term, who knows. The long term is pretty hard to predict with the constant changes in college football, but for now we intend to play Notre Dame and they are on our schedule and we’ll be playing them for the next few years anyway.”
I'm sorry, but I'm not mocking Michigan during a three game losing streak to them. Doing that seems 'delusional.'[/QUOTEim not mocking them, its true. Michigan has a very weak schedule, we could be on a 60 game losing streak to them and it doesn't change the fact they have the worst fan base on earth, and they just aren't about all the hype.
FWIW, ND already has it's plans made.
If the Big East crumbles without our hand being forced we have it set to move all sports to Big 12 except football.
If we simply get forced out of staying independent we're headed to the ACC. It's a done deal unless the ACC changes its terms. My big fear is that if we wait too long then we lose our current leverage.

Yeah that's an easy schedule alright.I'm sorry I haven't taken into consideration the national power service academies ND has on the schedule every single season.
Give me a break.
You do realize that Air Force is consistently an 8+ win team and often ranked, right? And that Navy played SEC power South Carolina to a 27-24 game this season?
Each of those teams is consistently as good or better than Minnesota, Northwestern, Illinois, Purdue, and Indiana off the top of my head... that's half your conference...
I am glad we never got beat by Appalachian state
You got beat by the team who got beat by App State though.![]()
we've all got embarrassing losses, but...

Atleast they are an FBS school.
Don't count your chickens.
