So who do we think has a "statement" game tonight for our Irish - just a little something to whet our appetites for next year? I wouldn't mind GAIII showing us a little something out of the backfield.

I'd love to see TJ and Theo have big games, we're gonna need them big time next year. It's already been stated in previous posts but I also think Lynch is going to have a big game.

It's game day fellas! Im way more confident about this game now than I was a couple weeks ago. We have to remember that Brian Kelly is the head coach and he will have this team ready to go. Im not going to make a prediction because my predictions are always off. The one thing I will say, I wont be suprised if GA3 takes a kick off to the house. He is becoming a real threat back on special teams

May was just discussing the Floyd/Greg Ried matchup op the outside. I am curious to see ow this pans out considering he is 5'8'' and Floyd is 6'3''. May compared Reid to Darryl Green--a bit lofty but what can you expect from May Day. If he can take Floyd 1 on 1 that may cause coverage issues for the Eifert. But they still have to respect Floyd and give safety help regardless.

Lou of course liked ND and also thinks Hendrix starts the 2nd half.

I was telling a co worker of mine, also a die hard FSU fan, that Jimbo better get Reid a step ladder. He was adamant that Reid would absolutely not be covering Floyd. Harris will be on Floyd, and Xavier Harris will get some snaps lining up against him as well.

Last time Im going to complain about the kickoff time for this game. Who in their right mind thought the Alamo bowl was more important than the Champs sports bowl and made kick off for the game at 5pm est? Straight up furious I cannot watch this game live.

I came into work early so I could bail. I live in Denver, so this game starts at 3:30 my time. Considering it very well may be one of the most desired games of the bowl season, you would think that they would have scheduled it better. Oh well. At least the bars will be empty!

I really thought we were going to lose this game up until the past hour or so.... and reading tweets and stuff from players I think our D is going to be too hungry to lose. Aaron Lynch might go gorillaz on this FSU 4 frosh OL. I think it all comes down to how aggressive Diaco is.

Plus, it seems like Fisher might be using this as a "get young guys experience" and "look to next year" game.
