Yeah, and he a pretty uninformed reason. The regional recruiter said ND was in the lead, but they Tom says that the most important thing is depth charts and that Vandy is the best option there. Consequently, Vandy must lead.

Depth charts are important, but Tom says nothing about the concerns that Kiel has expressed. So, rather stupid comment by him.

We will never be able to recruit as well as USC. It sucks but they are in LA and will do whatever they have to in order to land recruits. I take pride in the fact that ND is selective and the kids that end up here do it because they really want it.

would love to have Gunner but am happy with the QBs that we have....next year is a different story

btw, according to Rivals, our class is ranked higher than USC's right now.

Better than checking it every 5 minutes regardless of other responsibilities like i did with Lynch and Tuitt last year.

Obviously nobody knows. He is deciding and Notre Dame is one of his (probably his current leading) option. He would be a real benefit here, but he is not a must get because Hendrix, Golson and Rees give us quality options right down to the three-deep.

They are still saying it. The overall reaction on their 247 board is "why" and "save the scholarship for a position of need" and "he doesn't impress me" and "California produces better QBs." Not one of the people over there were excited about the possibility of him visiting.
