It's been basically confirmed that it's mono... which sucks because that spreads incredibly easily among a team if you're not careful (sharing water bottles, etc.). I've seen mono take months to recover from or just a couple weeks. Sometimes you lose like 10% of your body weight and I can't imagine a DE playing well with a lack of strength.

Yea mono can get really bad. If they caught it early he should be ok but i doubt that he plays. It takes so much out of your body. It makes you extremly tired.

Not only does it make you tired, but it's very dangerous because of the risk of splenic rupture. If he's had it for a few weeks and just found out last week, then the swelling may have gone down in time for him to play. If you have mono, you're supposed to refrain from playing contact sports for at least three weeks.

I love this kids ability and personality. He had a tweet I saw listed on another site and it Sid he was going to put nd on his shoulders, not nd Eric in the picture but the team. I lover it. He had another twitter pic of him posing with a young kid at a store--pretty dng cool.

We are lucky to have him. And Lynch. Those two beasts with Ishtaq...... Love it. And Manti as a role model!!!! Does it get any better!!!!!!!!!!
