We desperately need his speed at the Dog.

ND appears to lead for him now, no?

Fell from #64 to #109 in new Rivals 250:

"Odenigbo is a great athlete who plays hard, but his relative inexperience in the game comes out in his play recognition," Helmholdt said. "The other concern is that he does not have a true college position. He plays defensive end, but is built more like an outside linebacker. We still like his future potential, but after seeing him in person again this fall we felt he was a little too high in the earlier rankings.

That's how I read it. lol

“@TrieuA: Centerville (Ohio) senior LB/DE Ifeadi Odenigbo will announce his decision on January 7th”

I hope it was just a coincidence that he decided this on the same day Stanford came to visit.

Probably not. Oh well.

Stanford visited him TODAY. planed his announcement TODAY. coincidence? You decide.

While that may be true, even with most reports saying he is a Stanford lean, what if he really has ND ahead and didn't hear enough from Stanford to flip him...The coicidence is startling, but it is a possibility...I like my wishful thinking, helps me sleep at night...lol

This is the tweet from earlier today:

“@GregBiggins: #Stanford will be in the home of Ohio DE Ifeadi Odenigbo tonight. The athlete could hear if his application has been approved.”

Makes it sound worse actually, but again he could have decided yesterday to announce on Jan 7th and didn't tell anyone until today... One can hope anyways.

Could be a situation where he didn't get into stanford so he decided to go to nd.

Very doubtful coaches would fly out there to tell him they couldn't take him. That's easier (and more cost/time effectively) done through a phone call.

If he was so solid why wouldn't he just commit? If the in home visit went that well, why not just end it now?

I'm sure the staff will visit him to counter attack that Stanford visit. Bring the house.

I have faith that we can make a move, don't get me wrong, it just doesn't look favorable at the moment is all I was saying.
