I would love for ND to get him and adding quality depth is a must but you can't blame a lot on the OLB as they didn't have a chance with the D-line getting blown off the line.Would love for him to commite. We need more talent at the OLB position, that was very obvious this weekend.
IMO he's more of a want pick up rather than a need pick up as I don't see him being a factor next season as there is plenty of talent at Dog OLB already it's just young and need more games.
Wish Spond was able to stay healthy and on the field...Dog is deep but Cat is not. Fleming and Filer will graduate this spring, leaving Ishaq as the only returning player currently seeing reps at Cat.
The depth at Dog isn't overly encouraging either. Shembo has struggled and Spond hasn't played. Niklas and Counsell have lots of potential, but neither is ready to produce.
nice i finally hear some good news... really if i was a 18 yr old kid ND is to good to not go.... Also i might help these kids a bit to see us finish games and have hype...

Good article.
“My mom loved it,” he said. “She absolutely loved it.
“It’s important because my mom has a big say in what school I attend,”
Loved the trip, it was the first college football game he's been to. His mom also loved everything. Said he had to postpone his Stanford visit until December because of playoffs. Atmosphere was great, and said other games he goes to won't be able to match ND/USC.
This is a poor post...I hope he doesn't think that it would be incredibly difficult to compete with Stanford kids in that major while playing a BCS-level D1 sportI am hearing that he is high on Stanford, in part, because of their excellent computer science major.
I know we don't recruit negatively, and I know this is not a good sale's pitch, but I am wondering if it has occurred to him how incredibly difficult it would be to compete with Stanford kids in that major while playing a BCS-level D1 sport. Stanford science students are the cream of the crop, and Stanford is among the most prestigious school in that major (up there with MIT). Computer Science majors are notorious for staying up into the wee hours of the night messing around on computers. A lot of the "expertise" in the discipline does not come from simply fulfilling course requirements, but immersing one's self in that world.
Flipped around, its kind of like a kid trying to play BCS football while only taking part in the mandatory team events (no 7 on 7s, off-season lifting, etc.). You could technically do it, but you would be at a huge competitive disadvantage with your teammates. If I were not 100% committed to full-time football, I would not go to, say, Alabama. If I were not 100% committed to computer science, I am not sure I'd go to Stanford.
Long story short, Computer Science and Football at Stanford seems to me like 2 full-time jobs. We had a 4-star player try this in our architecture program. He dropped out to pursue architecture.
Perhaps Ifeadi is aware of this, and is also aware that Stanford minus Harbaugh and Luck is going to be a whole lot different.

IDK...I guess I'm not the type of person to say that something is to difficult and choose not to do it. If it's something I believe in my heart I want to do then I'll try to do it.Why? I think there are some valid points.
How about Chris Stewart last year playing D1 football and being in law school?Sherm - I think you may be drastically underestimating the amount of time, effort and existing knowledge it takes to be successful in that major at Stanford. He may feel as though he can do it, but I doubt that it is realistic to do so.

shrug...i guess I might be underestimating CS at Stanford.
