it really doesn't matter who we play if we turn the ball over we will lose. we got to play better and take care of the ball.

Sweet....... Don't worry guys/gals, I'll be there. If I need to jumg the wall and speak to the boys I will. Don't be surprised to see me beside Kelly during the timeout, may even take a few snaps.

We're good.....

This game will get a .2 rating going up against Bama and LSU.

Yeah, this is an interesting pick up in prime time. You also have KState and Oklahoma State playing as well as A&M visiting Oklahoma. I would imagine one of those games would be the afternoon kick off and the other the ABC primetime match-up. Interesting time slot for us.

They beat Florida State, a better team than ND. I think we can beat them as long as the running game can carry Rees.

Florida State is not a definitively better team than Notre Dame.

Wake Forest week ladies and gents. They rank 108th in rushing but 24th in passing. Defense gives up 25.4 points a game while they average 30.6 a game.

They were owned by UNC today and gave up 562 total yards while having 5 turnovers.

They lost to Syracuse, UNC, and VA Tech. They did beat FSU but only beat Duke by a point while handling Gardner Webb. They beat NC State by a touchdown and BC by 8.

I can see where they might give us trouble but this team has no rushing attack and against our rush defense, they will be forced to go through the air. Their top WR is a 6 footer by the name of Chris Givens and he is a big play threat.

In the end though, ND should win and I feel by at least two scores. Wake is one dimensional on offense and average against the rush (take away the Gardner Webb game). This win versus Navy should be the start of a new winning streak.

Just my opinion.

They're good enough to give us a game because they don't have any glaring weaknesses. But we are more talented at literally every position (even QB!) in this game and by the end of 4Qs it should show. They beat FSU because FSU was using 2 QBs... both of which played horribly for different reasons... and because FSU could not run the ball to save their lives.

If ND comes out committed to the run we should be in good shape.

ND will open a 10 point favorite based on Sagarin's Predictor Model from last week. Considering their 25 point loss and ND's 42 point win, I'd expect the spread to grow.

Those NCAA ranking 25.4 points allowed and such are BEFORE the UNC game. WF's going to drop about 15 to 20 slots with the 49 points and 550+ yds allowed. Conversely ND will drop about 15 to 20 slots in many categories (not all) because of the big differentials against Navy.

WF's QB Price was ranked #29 while Rees was 54th. Comes the morrow they with the news NCAA ranking, they'll be a lot closer than 26 slots. Price double his number of INTs and threw no TDs in UNC's rout. Adjusting the two QBs Eff Ratings for the UNC and Navy games, Price is 141.14 and Rees is 138.21 They'll probably be less than a dozen slots of either other depending upon what other QBs did Saturday. Price is completing 61.0% of his passes with a 2.41 INT Rate. Rees is completing 66.1% of his passes with a 2.95% INT Rate. Price has 15 TD passes to 6 INTs. Rees has 14 TDs to 8 INTs. Price gets 7.9 yds/attempt. Rees gets 7.2. That give Price a little less than 3/4 of a yard more per attempt.

Price has at least 1 TD completion in every game this year. Rees missed a TD only in the USC game. Price had a much better TD:INT ratio until the 3 picks against UNC brought them closer together. Prior to UNC he hadn't throw more than 1 in any game.

Sack wise ND has allowed among the fewest in the Nation in the Top 10. WF is ranked around #100 in Sacks Allowed. ND is ranked about 50 slots higher is Sacks made.

Sagarin ranks WF comparable with USF. If ND gives up 5 turnovers like they didn't against USF it will be a bleak day. IF WF gives up 5 like they did against UNC the score will similar to ND's win over Navy and AF.

IF Ball Security is neutral, ND wins by 2 TDs.

I'd except ND's offense to be similar to what they ran against Navy. Gray, Wood, and Floyd in a mix. Without much of a WF running attack, Lynch and Tuitt can be unleashed. I expect ND to go after Price.

Punting wise WF stats are comparable. ND amazingly gets a 4 yd advantage in punting while WF gets about a 4 yd edge in Punt Returns. KOs are ND's by 10 yds/return. WF has made 14 of 15 FGs. ND is only 5 of 9.

Sagarin's new ratings are out. His Predictor Model rates ND as the 11th best team with the 22nd Toughest Schedule. The Predictor Model makes ND a between a 15-1/2 and 16 point favorite at Wake Forest.

We have to come out with Wood and Jonas. Get them off to a strong start and then see if Floyd and Eifert can get open and make big plays. I do believe that our defense gained alot of confidence this week. I think our defense will have another good game,

Not that many people will be watching. Even I'll be switching back and forth in an attempt to catch some LSU-'Bama.
