Today's Practice

Was listening to South Bend sports radio on my way home as usual. Eric Hansen called back in after leaving the show to cover post practice interviews to say that today's practice got extended to 6:30 because Kelly was making the team go back through the sections he didn't feel were up to par. In my experience when you have a bad week of practice you don't have a good game, and I think you could say the same thing of last weeks practice and games. Lets hope he gets the focus back and quick.

I'm driving up to SB in t-minues 8 hours....yes you read that correctly. 4 1/2 hour drive from Cincy. Gonna go straight over to campus to do the Tunnel Tour. I've said this wayyy too many times already,but this is my first time back in The Bend in 15 years and will be my first home game. I'm up for tailgating with anyone from IE if you want.

I don't know why it is a given that Harrison is gameday cap, but I love that Salvi is a captain. As a walk-on, he obviously puts ND above himself, which is what a lot of his teammates need to do.

What? Were you not around when we were destroyed last year? And what makes you think Diaco suddenly knows how to stop the triple option? A win is never guaranteed for any team, especially for ND. I think I speak for more than myself when I say I will never be surprised by ND's ability to lose.
