He is my Halloween costume. Only I've been growing my beard out for the last three months to get the "Milk was a bad choice" down perfectly. It will be glorious.

Also, completely agree with the staying classy part.

I was Ron and the crew freshman year. Almost did make it out that night.

Did anyone watch the Lemming Report? He interviewed this kid. On thing I found interesting is they said he went from a 4.6 fo to a 4.40 40. He mentioned that he's really been working on his speed. Why isn't he on ND's radar. I understand we have Deontay but I think we could find a place for this kid. Any thoughts?

4.40?

Watch this video: Gehrig Dieter Record Breaking Game - YouTube

And tell me with a straight face that that is 4.40 speed.

That's what they said in the interview. Alabama and Oregon have offered. Are you saying this kid is not good enough for ND?

Have you read the thread? There's almost 500 post of "thoughts". He's been on ND's radar for quite a while. And it appears for all that time, he's not been a primary target. IF he now has developed 4.4 speed with his size and hands he'll have a lot of schools chasing hm. There's still 4 months left in this recruiting cycle.

Read and get up to speed.

I have read the thread. "thoughts" were before he reported 4.4 speed on the Lemming report. I'm asking for new thoughts since he's SUPPOSEDLY bigger/faster and is saying Oregon and Alabama are knocking on his door. BGIF, No reason to get upset or malicious from the post. Stop being an idiot, I'm just asking what people think.

If you read the thread then you'd know that he camped at ND and ND has and is aware of him. So why the "Why isn't he on ND's radar" nonsense?

You asked for thoughts and you got 'em.

His dad did tell me that they were working on and getting close to getting 4.4 speeds before the season started.

I think those 4.4 times are high 4.4s though.

Sorry BGIF. didn't know you were so technical. I would think every recruit that's worth anything is on every teams "radar". So let me rephrase. Given the information heard on Leming report, increased speed, Oregon and Alabama intrest, why hasn't he been offered yet.?

Isn't it quite obvious? The coaches think they have or can get better players.

I honestly dont think Notre Dame will offer. They have three wide recievers already and have now set their sights on much bigger fish (Agholor). This staff doesn't really offer based on who other schools have offered or shown interest in. No staffs do really.

Oregon and Alabama have been showing interest for awhile. If he gets an offer like that, great. Good for him for putting in hard work and keeping his head up. Until then, facts are facts. He plays sub par competition and has MAC offers. Let things unfold.

SMU is actually probably a good fit for Gehrig. And they'll likely be in the Big 12 soon. Makes sense to me.

I wouldn't mind seeing him come to IU though.

I agree.

They spread the field and thus play a lot of receivers. Lots of passing and spreading around of the football.

Where would I like to see him play? Ball State. :)

Shouldn't bother to say it, but I didn't like the interview. I wish nothing but the best for this young fellow, but the tone of every answer was still solely about himself.

I couldn't find even the hint of "it opens up things for my teammates", " my friends are filling the yardage gap", "my teammate [name] has been a good source of my success", "I'm always thankful for the good job that the offensive line is doing, and ...(names QB) ... has given me some great throws", "if it helps us win, then I'm happy". etc etc etc. I really hope this talented young man evolves a bit on this dimension.

You guys don't like the term RKG --- I DO....a lot.

I am not a fan of the "term" itself but I am a huge fan of the guy who fits it.
