I have a question for everyone that may reveal whether we just have a difference of opinion or not. For anyone that saw Cal's unis last night, how did you feel about them? I think you can guess that I thought they were awful, but the ones they wore in their previous game were great. Thoughts?

Maybe I'm being too traditionalist here, but football uniforms should either be white or dark. Everything else looks awful.

The Patriots tried a silver uni a few years ago and people were so upset they got rid of it:

I see gold the same way as silver. I can't imagine liking it.

I did not like Cal's uniforms last night. The all white ones are cool, but i like their all blue ones best.

Let me note that all of the designs I am putting out that I am not a fan of. Just throwing designs out and taking suggestions. My high school uniforms were very plain. All blue pants with either all blue jerseys(yellow numbers) or all white jerseys (blue numbers) and we had a metallic blue helmet with yellow face mask.

1. pants that are a color other than gold

Honestly I appreciate your guys work on all these combos, but BK said that it will be something that even Oregon hasn't done. All these uniforms are boring and are not unique other than being the same color. If it is going to be anything it will be glow in the dark IMO. Anyhow, I am going to be super mad if we spend all this time bullshitting around and they make 0 changes haha

This design is widely considered to be the worst Notre Dame has ever tried. I don't understand the appeal of all-gold. We've tried it, and it was terrible.

I agree. I like the gold jersey but the pants have to change. Not sure if I would want to mess with the gold helmet though.

Even still, if we take BK at his word that the unis are something that Oregon hasn't done, I don't think we are talking just about color combinations. Maybe they are stealth uniforms. We'll spend all game watching USC chase shadows.

Wow. I didn't realize the all gold uni had been done before. I think my main draw to it was how different it is and I really like the green undershirt/socks. After seeing that picture of a past attempt, I think i'm leaning towards NotJayRock's all blue and all green.

No problem! They're a bit difficult, but very fun to make. Gave me a pass through boredom. Anyway, I think it'd be cool to run out in these again, even though we wasted it in '07. These things looked GREAT in my opinion.

This one is just curiousity getting the best of me. I know we'll never run out in anything like this, but I had always wondered what an ND on the lids would look like:

I want Kelly to do what Richt did when UGA played Auburn in 07. I want NO ONE but Kelly and the coaches to know what the Uniforms will look like until they come out of the tunnel right before the game starts. Warm up in normal uni's.

After all of the crazy mock-ups in this thread, a simple white-on-white is easily the best one! So classy.

Auburn, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Texas, USC... how come none of the schools that actually win championships have crazy alternate uniforms? Texas' all-whites are easily the best in the country.

Those all-white Cal unis are amazing, and so are those Oregon all-whites. It just looks so damn classy, especially the Cal jerseys with the white helmet.

I like that. The all blue makes me think of Navy.

But all in all there are certain uniforms that should not be messed with.
