I thought they'd lose to Air Force and beat Navy on emotion/payback this year. These are hellish offenses to play against-as I told a friend the other day if they wade thru these two difficult games they will have shown me that their talent and football guile are matched. Some of these young kids will get an eye opening experience playing these academy warriors. Gotta do this this weekend anyway-ugly or pretty just get thru this game.

This game is an important indicator to me in that although I believe that our offense will be good enough to win, I am REALLY hoping to see Diaco get the hang of defending a good triple-option offensive opponent. IF we "mess them up" rather than the other way around, then we probably also mess Navy up. If we DON'T, then, even if this is a win, I worry very much about that darn Niumatolo.

Oh these games scare me.....all games scare me but i hate these games where if we win its just a meh feeling from everyone, but if we lose we get laughed at. But we need a big win going into our bye week then we play the joker to our batman.

Not sure Air Force can keep up with the scoring on our side. They do not play particularly well on grass either. Their complex offense should be able to put up some points on the D though.

Dude, we're going to kill AF. There's no way we're looking past it, since we learned that last year and next week's a bye. And if we learned anything last year it was to respect the armed services/triple option. Plus we're at home and have more defensive speed this year.
