Very good. Let's get these superconferences going.
If we join a Conference does that make our September schedule less nut cracking?
Screw Baylor. Texas a&m has every right to better themselves.
I think it's because of the possibility of super-conferences and Baylor perhaps being left out of the alignment. But yeah, you're right. If the Big 12 says A & M can leave, Baylor needs to mind their own business.
Joining a conference will change Notre Dame's identity, which it has been cultivating for over 100 years. If Notre Dame could help effectuate a national conference I could accept that, but that seems unlikely.

You'd play the 3 teams in your pod, and two of the four in the other pods every year. That would be nine games. Three OOC games and the top two teams (from different pods) play a conference championship game. Obviously there would be an unbalanced schedule, but I don't see how you'd avoid that in a 16 team league.
I would put the chances of something like that happening at about 2%. Otherwise, I'd much rather stay independent.
Looks like it wasn't just Baylor who said no, more like everyone did except OU.

OU has wanted to join the pac-12 since last year.Looks like OU will be next to jump... Can you blame them? This ship is sinking faster than the Titanic.

Huge fan of the site, I've been on here as a guest for over a year and just now started an account. Born and raised under the eyes of Touchdown Jesus. I go to purdue (insert joke here) and work as an intern with the football team which tears at my heart strings everyday haha. Personally, I think Baylor is trying to stop the inevitable, and I applaud A&M for sticking up to Texas
If Oklahoma indeed joins the PAC 12 south who would join the north? My guess would be Boise or maybe nevada
I confused as to were Texas will land after all this. What conference is going to take them and allow them to run their network like the big 12 is currently. I see advertisement all over the place for ordering their network. Could this force UT to independent?
Boise and Nevada both add nothing to the Pac-12/14.
