Can someone let me know when it looks like the game will resume, I am about to play some Fallout to kill sometime and it helps calm me down so I do not make any questionable post.

Everyone is pretty calm compared to last year given what the 1 st half looked like!

Bare minimum 30 minutes until they even evaluate when the game should be restarted.Then if thats a go the 2 coaches decided on how long to warm up. This is gonna be a lengthy delay guys...

If Colin Cowherd was in my livingroom right now I would kick him in the ****. And I was a fan of him to start the day. I swear, one smart comment by him and (I'm not even a strong guy) and I'd come at him like a spider monkey.

Defense played well, and got better as the first half progressed.

We were able to move the ball well against their defense, and mostly stopped ourselves with turn-overs, penalties, missed throws and dropped passes.

This weather delay is a godsend. Literally, that lightning strike was God expressing his displeasure with His team. We've got a good shot to come back in the 2nd half.

Im not here to make excuses, but did anyone else think the refs should have blew the whistle on that play? Usually when a group is tangled up and the ball carrier is stopped they end the play.

I really dont understand some of you guys and I should by now because it happens every game week. It is just crazy how quickly people jump off a ledge and then start calling for backups.

Crist has not played well and made a terrible decision on the ball in the end zone but this whole thing is not on him. Riddick has had the worst first half of anyone on our team. It has been mistakes all across the board:

> Jonas Gray fumble inside the five.
> Harrison Smith with back to back facemask penalties.
> Jones drops a TD.
> Eifert kills a drive with a drop.
> Riddick kills a drive with a drop.
> Crist throws a terrible interception.
> Floyd takes a touchdown off the board with a penalty.
> Riddick fumbles a punt.

I can go on and on. It was terrible but good god grow up a little bit. I don understand the immediate calling for Rees. Im not asking for people to explain to me why they want Rees, just asking for some of you to relax and not look so much like Michigan fans. Please!

I like Crist but I see some of the same accuracy issues as last year. The interception, the pass to Eifert, the pass to Riddick were behind the receiver. Yea they got their hands on it and they need to make a play, but putting it on their back shoulder with some zip on it is a tough catch.

I agree wholeheartedly, but one thing everyone must remember is that the people who monitor message boards during games (as opposed to, you know, socializing...) are the self-selected most hardcore fans. I literally thought more about Notre Dame football this week than sex (and I'm a man).

So when people like me see major disappointment down the road, one natural response is psychologically making sense of it (see 9/11 deniers) and anger at whomever they think is causing it.

So to the a-holes: stop being a-holes. And to the non-a-holes: remember that if someing is being an a-hole to you, it's out of love for the Fighting Irish and not personal.

Really? I won't be the slightest bit impressed. And, we're now out of the top 25 win or lose at this point. Thats not terribly impressive.

Dayne looked bad. He missed a lot of throws. The slant to Floyd would have kept a drive going. The interception took points off the board. Eifert's drop was behind him.

People are calling for Tommy because the competition was close and Dayne looks bad.

We'll see.
