I think we'll have two RB commits by then, but we'd still take K. Marshall in a heartbeat. For us to truly be full, we'd have to get eight blue chip verbals between now and January.

Some "good" news (if you want to look at it that way) is that Byron Marshall and Keivarae Russel both plan on slow decision cycles. So I'm really hoping we get Mahone and then hunker down to land one of the Marshalls... and maybe KeiVarae ends up being one of the final athletes we take.

Listen fellas, there is no way Keith Marshall will be told the boat is full and we're sailing without him. Not only is there wiggle room with the 5th years but also transfers and early NFL draft entries (okay I said entries plural but we all know that it would be a single entry) That could open another couple scholarships without showing Crist/Cave/KLM the door.

Let me get a Manti that stays for 2012 after Wood hits 1000 yd season. Come USC, if we win big, we will land recruits we never thought we had a chance with. A big reason why I think many recruits are going. Good atmosphere, good team?, good errr thang! Recruits wanna see what we are and where they can fit. PERIOD

He's not a hater because he's skeptical that ND will go to back-to-back BCS games (esp considering in 2012 all the starters we will lose and we play Oklahoma, Michigan, USC, Miami, among other solid teams that will have the ND game marked as their "Super Bowl"); he's just being realistic. Nothing wrong with that. I love ND just as much as the next leprechaun, and I'm still worried about this year's team getting to a BCS game, much less next year's team.

I am optimistic too and would like to see ND reach BCS bowls every single year but I won't go as far as guaranteeing it. To me that is just too extreme.

thanks bro glad to be apart of this forum quality ND folks... no guarantee i do feel were on the rise again... my first trip to ND was after 2 6/6 seasons TRUEDOMER i will support my team in every game and i do believe we can win all the games this yr... now will it work out that way? maybe maybe not we all will know at the same time..

8 games in the last 2 yrs lost by 6 or less.. thats a hump we need to just get over we have not just been dominated in those seasons.. 2007 sugar bowl, 2010 sun bowl not bad for the last 5 yrs.. Note good enough tho...
