Maybe its me, and I'm pretty sure I'll get told to hush up, but what I would love to see is KMarsh in the slot, BMarsh and Mahone as RB's. Hey thats just me. We do need an awsome slot with super shiftiness.

You're okay, Praytorian. I wouldn't necessarily mind seeing that either. Keith as the slot/PR/KR/utility man...with Byron and Will in the backfield would be fun to watch!

According to BGI his visit went well. He saw everything he wanted to see in regards to the campus and met with the academic advisors. Liked seeing the emphasis they place on academics. Liked the uptempo practice and also likes the style of Tim Hinton. Sees early playing time with lack of depth at RB. Said he could definitely see himself playing here. Got to have some one on one time with Coach Kelly. Will come back for an official visit. Obviously wants to come for the USC game but has a game the night before. Regarldes, he will be back on campus at some point.

ISD has more info and it sounds more positive than the BG account. The ISD writer said he spent a significant amount of time Byron. Sounds like we made a lot of headway with Byron.

Basically, a friend of the writer said Byron and his father were in the Chicago airport all decked out in ND gear.

He loved his visit. He's visiting Oregon and Washington this week and wants to compare them to ND. Met with an academic advisor and Coach Kelly. Wants to visit for USC game.

As far as facilities go, Oregon gives ND a run for it's money (Nike has taken care of that). I don't see how Washington can compete with either of these top programs and their resources. If academics is really important though, neither of these schools can touch Notre dame. I'm really liking our odds with this guy.

I think they're being investigated, yes. Any recruit who's smart will realize that where there's smoke there's fire and stay away from it. The NCAA is really cracking the whip and some of the sanctions could affect these kids' entire college football careers.

This certainly bodes well for us, especially if his father is reppin the ND gear. Always good to have the potential recruits parents on board..
