They seem confident they will come in here smack us around and the the AP will automatically jump them to #16.

your sig pic is great!!!

the first of those MAY happen... but if they smash some completely over rated team why should anyone take that as a step to the top 25???

The theme is that BJ will beable to run all over us...well BJ meet Prince Shembo, Darius Flemming, KLM, Sean Cwynar, Carlo Calabrese, EJ.

Also, you'll most likely become very tight with Manti Teo, and if all goes well...you'll enjoy delicious breakfast compliments of Louis Nix as he'll be serving pancakes all day

Thank you I can't take credit though I stole it from a bullspen poster actually feel free to use it.

I don't see them coming in and smashing us. They may beat us but not smash us.
As far as jumping into the top 20 they don't even have a point so no one put them on their top 25 yet they'll jump everyone behind us.
The tint of team colored glasses 2 weeks before the season gets us all doesn't it.

First game of the season, I don't see either team smacking the other around. I think it'll be a good game, but ultimately dominated by our defense in the 2nd half. I think they are a formidable opponent, but they won't get it done. I think our guys finally believe in themselves.

Ohio State will lose at least 4 games this year unless someone steps up big time and has a heisman like season at QB or RB, which I do not see happening. If Miami wasn't having such trouble right now it could be 5. I don't see them having a chance against Wisconsin and Nebraska, and likely Michigan State as well. Hoke might have Michigan playing well towards the end of the season similar to Kelly last year. PSU won't be easy, and historically Illinois gives OSU trouble. So we will see but I see 3-4 losses for them.

MSU is a toss up, well see if they can be consistent 2 years in a row

Miami is in shambles...another toss up...plus UM has no homefield advantage

Nebraska is a L
Wiscy is a L

Penn St- as much as i hate to say it, they might be decent, theres another L

I dont think UM is there yet, and I am not sold on Hoke (I know...we've had this discussion on the board already)

So say they split the toss ups that 4 losses, and all to the teams on their schedule that are good. Theyll get put into a bowl against another 8 win team, hopefully from the SEC, and get clownstomped. The beginning of the end of tOSU

BGIF with the mix up! You're right about 99% of the time, so you can afford to be called out once in a while lol. We play USF not UCF this year. 8 in the top 44 though, still a tough schedule.

I read the list as saying "Brad Edwards projects us in the Champ Sports Bowl", and "Mark Schlabaugh projects us in a BCS bowl vs Wisconsin". Schlabaugh must see us going undefeated or one loss [from the rest of his predictions that would be one of the Michigans or USC], and Edwards having us at three or four losses. Both projectors have nine ND opponents in bowls, with Schlabaugh projecting them a bit higher than Edwards. So much for people who claim we have a weak schedule. And that does not count USC of course. As prediction this is all feldercarb of course, but it tells us that our own green-kool-aid drinking is not completely insane.

Edwards is an ex-USouth Carolina DB, who was a very good pro. He may have an SEC bias, which could lend to under-rating ND.

I can't complain with the ranking, just a few spots too high for me, personally. Nice position to end up at the top if we run our schedule.
