Without a visit, it's just not a possibility. If some how a visit takes place this month, it's a whole different ball game.

If his interest in ND was genuine, wouldn't it be when he makes the trip instead of if?

I have a hard time believing we're still in the running when a self-imposed deadline is looming and Geno's being flippant about "if" he can make it. If he was serious, he'd have a visit scheduled already.

You also don't know his situation when it comes to money or other circumstances. There's a lot that goes into an unofficial visit, especially one that's a few hours away. I agree that it doesn't fair well for us that he cancelled his visit and has yet to reschedule. However, why bring us up in his top 5 time after time? Publicity? The kid is a top 100 recruit being persued by the nation's elite programs. A visit is still not out of the question. Even if it doesn't take place before his "deadline." If it is a money issue than perhaps an OV is in order farther down the line. The kid has proven that he loves this process and he loves playing games. This "decision deadline" means nothing.

I still think it comes down to Alabama and Auburn with Alabama winning out.
