Cam will also be 20 years old (or close to it) when the season starts, so he should be much more physically mature than your average incoming frosh.

I think Cam will end up being surprisingly productive for us in 2011. If he turns out to be a serviceable #2, and Gray figures out power running sooner than later, then maybe I can stop losing sleep over our depth at RB.

His style is perfect for our system... he was a very nice grab, idk about next year (or not)... but this kid should be a contributor druing his time in South Bend

As my Houston-based brother said [and he is a good judge of athletic talent]: Cam is like Craig James but faster. I really intuit that we're going to be gob-smacked by his play.

I love Cam and really hope he can come in and be a nice back for us right away. If he can do that, and we can grab 2 backs in this class (granted, to big ifs), it will hopefully facilitate a move back to WR for GAIII without sabotaging quality depth at RB.

What's up with the movie? Been rumored to be in the works for years. They're running out of time, though. The kids are in their 20's now.

Following Cam's Footsteps

Cool read on Cam's brother. He just finished his Freshman year so who knows how he is going to develop as a ball player... but this just sounds like a great family.

Doesn't really matter. They don't necessarily have to pick up where they left off, chronologically speaking...

The thing I like most about Cam's running style is his ability to find the crease no matter where he is on the field. He finds it at the line . He also is always looking for the angle to take down the field. It may be using a down field block or putting the blocker between him and the apposing teams tackler. His ability to make the tackler commit and cut back on them is an asset.

I see him being a good tandem with a QB that can move around and run.

This kid is quality! To think that we wanted that other guy...(Hayes)...looks like we got the better end of that deal.

I'm pretty sure that he'll be (at the very least) a punt returner down the road, perhaps as early as next year.

Also think he'll be either a dependable #1 or a solid #2.
