The mods at ISD were saying it proves that Lemming no longer has an 'in' at Notre Dame, b/c it's obvious that QB is not their #1 priority, and that they know for a fact that Barry Sanders Jr. isn't the #1 RB on their board.

So whoever he knew in the Irish program must not be there anymore...

If we miss on Mauk and Kiel, I would really like to see ND pass on a quarterback this year and maybe pick up an extra OL prospect. Taking five OL recruits would be smart with the amount of talented elite prospects. Just my opinion.

Lemming was tight with Dave Roberts. He left in '96 or '97.

Notre Dame offered Carter a few weeks before he committed to Stanford. The staff did not pursue him very hard. Think Carter might have been insulted by it a bit, also I don't think ND was that interested in him either.

I think he is a hell of a player, so maybe they can flip him. But there is nothing right now
