Irish Illustrated likes to post recruiting articles called the Master List. They have a new one out regarding the defense. I've always been curious what these articles talk about. I don't have a membership, so could someone give some insight? Are they worth the money or just a lot of off-season fluff? Darby, Shepard, and Geno are on the front.
The Notre Dame coaches have been told by a number of recruits that they are "close to committing." There are even some recruits that the Irish are still looking into that have tried to offer a verbal.
From 247:
Any guesses on who they are talking about?
Any guesses on who they are talking about?
Take a look at the OP. Darboh, Treggs, and Smith are all good guesses.
As for players whom we haven't offered yet, but have tried to verbal... no idea.
Perkins and Dieter?
Winnar; not sure how I forgot those. I'm sure there are others as well.
4 of the 9 commits are looking at enrolling early. Whose got the scoop?
In their threads, it is noted that both Darby and Shepard are trying to, but it's not set. Ferguson is along those same lines. The fourth is related to one of the aforementioned 3grin:
Why can the 4th, who is related to one of the aforementioned 3wink
, not be mentioned by name. Am I missing something?
It could be Greenberry he's related to Tee.
Correct me if this is wrong:
We took 23 in the last cycle, 5 of which enrolled early, so only 18 members of the incoming class count against the 25 max.
That means no more than 7 kids can enroll early from the current cycle, no?
